Rubeus Remus Potter. You were named after the only two people at Hogwarts who seemed to give shit about me, because come on who else would I name you after? A verbally abusive dickbag who was in love with my mum and gave me shit all my life and someone who convinced a bunch of children that they needed to be soldiers? What kind of awful aspirations would that make you end up having? Come on son I’m not an idiot…

Harley is a gift from God.

This is why Harley is like my all time favorite!

Why did they leave out the best part of this scene?;

The character development of Harley is probably one of the better things DC has done with their characters.

seriously though, imagine if commercials for “men’s” razors staunchly, fearfully avoided ever showing a beard or stubble or any trace of facial hair whatsoever, as if made in a bizarre and inexplicable alternate universe in which the thing their product exists to groom doesn’t exist

just dudes grinnin’ coyly as they mime running razors over their baby-bottom smooth jawlines, eyes glazed over, not knowing what it is they do, or why, knowing merely that they must

"With few exceptions, the public school teachers I’ve known over the years are among the most committed people I know, working long hours for relatively little pay on one of the most important tasks of our society – educating our children. Yes, the tenure system has to be reformed, and a few teachers aren’t doing a good enough job. But these aren’t the real problem. Our public school teachers have become scapegoats for a system that’s underfunded, underequipped, underappreciated, and overwhelmed."- Robert Reich, economist

Lewis’s law is an observation she made in 2012 that states “the comments on any article about feminism justify feminism.” Lewis has written frequently about misogynist hate directed at women online.[8]

Can we just repeat that a few more times,

“The comments on any article about feminism justify feminism.”

“The comments on any article about feminism justify feminism.”

bolded is important

it’s approaching fall which means it’s almost “leggings/scarves/snow/uggs/oversized sweaters/pumpkin spice lattes/wanting a boy to cuddle with” season which means it’s also almost “complain about teenage girls and the things they like to do in the fall” season and I want y’all to know I am Not Here For That and I will defend teenage girls forever

sadly, a person making minimum wage in america would be baffled by seeing a bill larger than a $5 or $1. a good cartoon.

written by someone that’s never been to or worked in retail

"you deserve poverty for giving me poor customer service"

I hope the person who made that cartoon dies a painful death.
and furthermore I’ll work circles around you, dickhead.
oh ps. what kind of name is Rob Smith Jr?????

"*this is a true story"
somehow i highly doubt it.

As someone who has done a lot in retail; this is literally impossible. The damn cash register tells you what change to give. The artist definitely pulled this one out of their ass

Ass, brain, whats the difference?

The best part that undermines the cartoonist’s intent is that, if she’s demanding $11/hour and the meal is $10.60, it means right now she can’t even afford to eat where she works with an hour’s pay.

oftentimes women might smile at cat-callers out of nervousness or pure fear because they know that if they react negatively that guy could get way scarier and even violent

it’s not a “wow i’m so flattered” smile it’s literally a “please don’t follow me home and murder me after this” smile
